By taking over the keys to the room and the main entrance or by checking in at the guesthouse, the guest agrees with these accommodation rules and undertakes to follow them.

  1. The guesthouse is open every day. Between 22:00 and 06:00 the main entrance is locked and entry is possible with a key.
  2. The guesthouse accommodates only a guest who has duly checked in, i.e. immediately upon arrival presents an identity card, passport or other valid identity document at the bar; foreign guests must also sign the foreigners’ book.
  3. Based on a confirmed booking, the guesthouse is obliged to hold the room until 18:00 on the day of arrival. Extending this time limit is possible by individual agreement with the client.
  4. The guest uses the room on the basis of a reservation or personal arrangement. If the length of stay has not been agreed in advance, the guest is entitled to use the room at the latest until 10:00 on the day of departure and at the earliest from 15:00 on the day of arrival.
  5. A guest who checks in before 06:00 is obliged to pay the price of accommodation for the whole previous night. A guest who does not leave the room at the set time is obliged to pay the price for an additional night.
  6. The guesthouse is not liable for loss of or damage to property caused by the guest’s own carelessness or negligence, or for items left outside the areas designated for them. The guest is responsible for jewellery, money and other valuables.
  7. In the rooms or common areas of the guesthouse, the guest may not, without the consent of the manager, move furniture, carry out repairs, interfere with the electrical or water installations or heating controls. The guest is fully liable for any damage caused to the property of the guesthouse.
  8. The guest may use the equipment provided in the room and appliances intended for personal hygiene (shavers, hairdryers, epilators, curling irons) only in the bathroom.
  9. The guest is not allowed to enter areas intended for staff, temporarily closed areas or areas where access has been prohibited.
  10. All guests are strictly obliged to observe quiet hours between 22:00 and 06:00.
  11. When leaving the room, the guest must turn off water taps, switch off lights and appliances, close windows and doors and return the key at the bar. Any defects discovered in the room must be reported immediately at the bar in the restaurant.
  12. If the guest hands over the room with missing or damaged equipment, they undertake to reimburse the full cost of the damage.
  13. The full payment for accommodation must be made in advance (on arrival), or in the manner specified in a valid contract or confirmed order.
  14. Parking for guests is provided in the Slezský Grunt premises or in the adjacent car park. However, this is not a guarded car park and the operator is therefore not liable for any damage to or theft of vehicles or items left in vehicles.
  15. For safety reasons, children must not be left unattended in the indoor or outdoor areas of the guesthouse, on stairways and in any places where there is a higher risk of injury. Parents or persons entrusted with their care during the stay are responsible for children.
  16. In case of serious illness or injury of a guest, the operator will arrange the necessary medical assistance or transport to hospital. All related costs are borne in full by the guest.
  17. Every guest is obliged to use water and electricity economically in all parts of the premises.
  18. For loss, heavy soiling or tearing of bed linen, the guest is obliged to pay compensation determined by the management of the guesthouse.
  19. Any behaviour contrary to safety rules and any soiling or damaging of the guesthouse facilities is strictly prohibited.
  20. The operator is not liable for any injuries of guests.
  21. The entire building is non‑smoking, including all adjacent areas (corridors, stairways), except for the outdoor terrace.
  22. Throughout the premises, including adjacent land, it is forbidden to light open fires. Any designated fire pit may be used only with the prior explicit consent of the operator.
  23. Pets are allowed in the guesthouse only when accompanied by their owner. Pets are not allowed to enter the attic common room.
  24. In case of loss of keys, the guest must immediately report the loss at reception. If they fail to do so, the operator is not liable for any damage related to the loss of keys. The guest must prevent loss of keys, protect them against theft and avoid lending keys to persons who are not duly accommodated. In case of loss or misuse of keys, the guest must pay the operator a contractual penalty of 5 000 CZK per key. This does not affect the operator’s right to claim compensation for any further damage.
  25. Safety measures: movement within the premises is at the guest’s own risk. It is necessary to be aware of the risk of injury: on the stairs (equipped with a handrail), on wet surfaces (if the floor is spilled with any liquid, inform the operator), and the risk of electric shock. Extra care must be taken when staying with children – do not lean out of windows, do not touch hot appliances or sharp objects, beware of hot water. Do not touch the fireplace stove while it is in use and do not dry clothes on it or in its immediate vicinity. Children may not be left unattended on the trampoline. Do not allow them to put objects into electrical sockets. The guest may not keep weapons, store or possess narcotic or psychotropic substances or poisons on the premises. They may not light fires. In case of fire, escape routes are clearly marked – signs showing the direction of emergency exits, and the rooms and common areas are equipped with smoke detectors. Portable fire extinguishers are placed in easily accessible and visible locations. Fire extinguishers may be used only in the event of fire. Any damage to or misuse of fire extinguishers in other situations (negligence, vandalism, access by children, etc.) must be paid for – this means paying for a new extinguisher and the cost of cleaning the affected areas.

Travel insurance: guests use the booked stay at their own risk. The operators are not liable for injuries, damage or destruction of property (liability for damage to the health and property of third parties), for damage caused by natural disasters or for damage related to such events.
  26. Any complaints, claims or suggestions for improvement may be submitted to the authorised person (Iveta Bálková) or to the staff at the bar.
  27. The guest has the right to complain if the accommodation has not been provided to the agreed extent or quality. Any complaint must be made immediately so that the situation can be remedied.
  28. By staying at the guesthouse, the guest confirms that they have read these accommodation rules. The guest is obliged to follow the provisions of these rules and agrees with the fulfilment of the obligations and the possible imposition of penalties under these rules. If the guest breaches these rules, the operator has the right to terminate the agreed accommodation or ordered services without compensation, even before the end of the agreed period, without any obligation to compensate the guest for possible damage.
